This Privacy Policy describes how the iDE Global iOS app (“App”) handles information. The App is published by iDE (“we,” “us,” or “our”).

Summary

The App is designed to showcase iDE’s work and provide a way to learn about giving. We do not require you to create an account to use the App. We do not sell your personal information.

Information we collect

The App may process limited information in these ways:

• App content. Stories, country information, and giving options are loaded from content bundled with the App or from iDE-hosted services (for example, images from cdn.ideglobal.org).
• Donation preferences. If you use the Give section, country, program, amount, and optional notes you enter are kept on your device for the session and are not transmitted to iDE unless and until you complete a payment flow that connects to a payment processor.
• Diagnostics. Apple may collect crash and performance data according to your device settings. We do not add separate analytics tracking in this version of the App.

Information we do not collect

• We do not require your name, email, or phone number to browse the App.
• We do not use the App to build advertising profiles.
• We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Third parties

The App may load images and links from iDE websites and CDNs. If you follow a link to ideglobal.org or complete a donation through Apple Pay or another payment provider, that service’s privacy policy applies to payment and account data they collect.

Data retention

Information you enter in the App stays on your device until you close the App or remove the App from your device, except where a completed donation is processed by a third-party payment provider under their retention policies.

Your choices

You can stop all App-related processing by deleting the App from your device. You can limit Apple diagnostic sharing in iOS Settings.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. We will revise the “Last updated” date above when we do. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated policy.
